why did i not know about this amazing aussie brand until now?! the ladies behind thursday, sunday (iris cuaresma and mara tonetti) have such a unique design aesthetic. the perfect combination of clean tailoring with voluminous silhouettes makes for very interesting collections. the minimalist appeal and the chunky knit sweaters won me over. above are my favorites from the fall/winter 2012 line.

shoe

for those of you who don't know, my nickname is 'shoe' and has been since i was about 2 years old. my parents gave me the nickname because i used to walk around the house in my mom's shoes all the time and i called everything-and i mean everything-'shoe'. i had this crazy obsession with shoes, and it seems some things haven't changed.
these are some of my current obsessions over at topshop. i'm dying to get my hands on a pair of all of the above but the ones at the top i'm obsessing over the most.

turn me on, dammit!

just finished watching Turn Me On, Dammit!. if you haven't seen it yet, i highly recommend it! it's such a genuine and refreshing coming of age film.

between the sheer paneling and the textured leather, what's not to love about this collection? not to mention the pop of cobalt blue is perfect to offset the abundance of black. i don't know how i have been living without that grey floor-length coat all these years, but you better believe i am going to start saving up for it!

stumbled upon this brand the other day. it's a bit on the preppy side so i am surprised i like this collection so much. i'm obsessing over the boxy silhouettes and hints of leather, and i'm totally diggin' the bronze lamé. above are a few of my favorite looks.

i got these a ridiculously long time ago as a hand-me-down from a friend of mine's mom. they are a size and a half too small so i never get to wear them (but i cannot give them up!). i look at them as being one shoe closer to becoming carrie bradshaw.
